Worry seizes our will to live in the present moment as it is. What causes you to worry? Is it your fears? Your momentary problems? What leads you to not live in the moment as it is? Ask your innermost self. Sometimes the adversities of an ordinary life takes us so far aback, we find it immensely tough to let go and live a burden free life.
We surf majority of our life not seizing the moment. We always look forward for the next day or the next moment. We look forward to a Wednesday evening but rarely look forward to a Tuesday afternoon. Now, that, is a major concern given the fact that the time we have is limited. And if you don’t learn to live every second of your life, you’re dead before you realize it. One day, you’re an enthusiastic youth. You spend your youthfulness worrying about the finances. Next day, you’re married and worrying about a family life. Few days later, before you know it, you will have retired. Then, you may ask, where did my life go? My youth, my energy, my time, my dreams, and plans, what happened to them? Where did they go
You grew into a habit of dwelling on unpredictable events of the future. And your life went by in a snap. Whatever has to happen, happens, whether or not you choose to worry about it. We’re here for a short time and to think about it, we can only live one moment at a time. You cannot live Tuesday and Monday at the same, likewise, you cannot see the sunrise and the sunset at the same time. You can live one moment at a time. One second at a time. One life at once. And worrying takes that moment away from us.
